Sometimes simple useful tips are hidden in OS. Easy-looking up dictionary in Mac OS X is one of them. The Oxford dictionary is included in OS X Tiger, and you know you may use it by running dashboard widget or Dictionary application. But there’s a simple way to look up dictionary during web-browsing or paperworking.

Press command+control+D on your keyboard after position your mouse onto a word of what you want to know the meaning. You see something pops up.

Default key combination is set as command+control+D. If you want to change it, just go to system preferences.
